The Making of Master of Love - By Author Dedra Morgan

I wrote Master of Love in about three months, but spent the next few years revising it.  It was a labor of love for me.  I would have to say that out of all the stories I have written, this one holds a very special place in my heart.  It was at the beginning of my re-awakening for writing again.  For many years, I had put my pen down and left writing behind.  When this book was conceived, I had already had several stories completed, but this one I knew was special.  It was special to me.  I have always found the idea of a master and slave falling in love very lovely in nature.  How much more powerful could a romance be, when power versus submissive.  The power play alone creates such sexual tension and passion.  Master of Love will always be my favorite of all my books.

The cover design for Master of Love was a labor of love.  It took many revisions to get this cover.  The woman on the front with the firey red hair looks identical to the one in my romance novel.  Her glorious red hair, bright green eyes, and wholesome beauty represent what I was trying to convey where Isabella was concerned.  The man on the cover represents passion, lust, and a desire for pleasure.  Master of Love was my first historical romance and because of that reason it is my most beloved novel of all.  It was the beginning of me writing historical's.  Master of Love is a love story that speaks to my heart, soul, and fantasies.
